Unfortunately, we don't currently have any vacancies for paid positions, but please do get in touch if you'd like to volunteer.
We need regular help with admin tasks, keeping records, updating Excel files etc., and front of house support greeting children and parents and signing them in, as well as making refreshments for sessions.
We are also keen to hear from anyone who’d like to volunteer to help children learn particular instruments from scratch. We currently work with a wide range of instruments including keyboards, steel pans, xylophone, violin and cello, flute and percussion.
You would not have to commit to coming every week, but we would work out a rota to suit you and ensure you were confident in what you had been asked to do. You need to be over 16 and will need to either supply a DBS transfer number and an original certificate from another organisation, or be willing to fill in the necessary documentation for a DBS check.
Steering Group Members
Our Steering Group helps manage the project and raise support and funding. We usually meet on the second Saturday of term after Seniors to review progress, term plans, finances etc and meetings are always productive.
If you’d like to help please send us an email to say what you’d like to help with and we will contact you.
